DAUGUARD BITUM PRIMER is a ready-to-use primer material produced by mixing water and bitumen with special techniques. It is used to increase surface adhesion and reduce absorbency prior to waterproofing applications performed with bituminous materials.
FIELDS OF APPLICATION • Used as a surface primer against water and moisture in concrete structures. • Preferred for surface preparation on cement-bonded particle board (Betopan) and plaster surfaces. • Acts as an adhesion primer on absorbent surfaces such as brick and wood. • Used as a primer coat prior to bituminous membrane applications and liquid-applied bitumen insulation.
