It is a wide flange (washer) apparatus used in external thermal insulation applications of rock wool and glass wool-based insulation boards. Since wool-based boards are not fully integrated internally due to their fibrous structure, the anchor head needs to distribute pressure over a wider surface area. It works in full compatibility with all anchor types of the PROFIX series (ST, PT, SB, PB, SG, PG).
