It is a concrete admixture that provides structural waterproofing by forming an insoluble crystalline structure in capillary pores when added to concrete. As an alternative to surface waterproofing systems, it makes the concrete itself waterproof; it does not require additional membranes or coatings. Thanks to its “self-healing” property, when moisture re-contacts subsequent micro-cracks, crystallization restarts and the concrete repairs itself. Dosage is specially configured based on the concrete class and hydrostatic load condition.
