It preserves the workability of concrete in hot weather or in projects requiring long transit times, ensuring that the pouring is completed without forming cold joints. In mass concrete applications, it reduces the risk of thermal cracking by dissipating the heat of hydration. The retarding time (ranging from 1 to 24 hours) is specially configured according to the project requirements and temperature.
