- The Base Layer (Corrosion Protection): To guarantee seamless adhesion of the intumescent matrix and block rust, the active zinc-phosphate based DAUFARBE TECHNISCH FIREX Z-GUARD anti-corrosive primer is applied as the foundational layer.
- The Main Core (Intumescent Expanding Paints): The water-based formula of FIREX I-S100 detects heat spikes instantly, expanding into a thick insulating char barrier that yields critical structural intervals like R30/R60/R90. For winter projects or high-humidity regions demanding fast rapid drying times, the solvent-based reactive FIREX I-SS200 is specified. To protect concrete elements and sub-structure columns, FIREX C-100 is deployed.
- The Protective Lock (UV & Weather Shielding): To shield the reactive intumescent layer from moisture and weathering while providing decorative options, the assembly is finalized with FIREX AP-100 topcoat.
